Transitioning back to work.

Today was my first day back to work. I fixed a minor bathroom plumbing problem, dealt with two baby tantrums, watched Houston getting practically flooded, replied to some support tickets, installed and started using Colloquy (thanks for your help, hacker), took a walk in the park with Max, made foods to last me through Wednesday (hopefully).

All considered, I think it was a pretty good start of the back-to-work transition. The plan for right now is to do some relaxing yoga and retire to bed early – rest and recovery are my priorities in January, to make sure that I don’t burn out.

How has your day been? Any changes or transitions you are going through?

Transitioning from windows to mac (PAIN), from Madrid to Berlin (can’t wait already) and from “well, yeah… what can I do about it…” to “YES I CAN!!!” (probably, the hardest one).

Oh yeah, change is hard. I’ve been getting used to Macs since November and there is still so much to learn! Seriously, make an appointment at the Apple store pronto. It is going to save a lot of time and frustration!
