After avoiding Twitter for a while (because I needed some mental breathing room to deal with all the country moves), I decided that it was time to get back on that train.

Since my hands are literally full nowadays (I am rocking my 25 pounds of joy to sleep as I am typing this with my right thumb), I installed the Twitter app on my iPhone.

What jumped out at me was not only is the app very sleek and aesthetically pleasing, it is also very nicely localized into Russian. I remember looking at the Twitter community translation project a while back and wondering, why is it taking them so long? The strings are already there, just go live with something!

Great to see that the time and effort have paid off in the form of a very well localized project. I will be checking that app frequently for inspiration, while working on the translation of WordPress for iOS into Russian.
